Vehicle: 2013 Audi Q7 TDI. Issue: Periodically charges battery at too low of a voltage (~11.6V). Correct voltage is in the ~13.4V range. If not caught, it will drain the battery completely during a 15-20mi trip. Doesn't happen all the time and doesn't change while driving. Some Audi cars have a plastic cover on top of the battery. Remove the screws that hold the cover in place, and pull out the cover to access the battery. Connect the red clamp (+) to the positive terminal. Connect the black clamp (-) to the negative terminal.
